Rachael is a Baltimore based creative. She moonlights as a border collie wrangler, a competitive ax thrower, and an aerialist with insatiable wanderlust.
About
Rachael is a Creative Director with 12 years of global experience in leadership, branding, and design. Part anthropology of art hobbyist and part wayward traveler, she's spent the last two decades living on 3 continents and traveling to 55 countries — all while leading her design team to transform a local Maryland company into a national industry leader. Her design influence stems from experiences like teaching photography and storytelling to 8-year-olds in Uganda and initiating ethical digital campaigns for a reforestation project in Ecuador.
In the past 5 years, Rachael envisioned and realized the experiential design of 10 multimillion-dollar climbing facilities. She led her creative team through a 3 brand merger, while developing and mentoring a national network of 200 creative collaborators. For each expansion facility, she harnessed that network to craft authentic local aesthetic while retaining national brand. This network of collaborators has been recognized for its enhancement of the community experience and its contribution to launching freelance careers. Putting human experience and social responsibility at the heart of design, we leverage its power to lift up communities and build a collaborative future.
